Privacy Policy & Data Governance
This page contains the official Data Processing Policy (Section 9) from the TNL Constitution.
1. League Structure & Data Management
The Tennis Nerds Community League (TNL) is a Non-Profit Community Association.
- The Management Committee (or the Organiser/Chair) is responsible for managing all Member (Player) data.
- The full TNL Constitution contains all the governing rules and policies.
2. Data Use and Privacy
The Committee's use of Player data is strictly limited to what is necessary for running the league:
2.1 Approved Data Use
- Private Sharing: Sharing your Name, Mobile Phone Number or Email ID internally with other active Members only for arranging matches.
- Public Publication: Publishing your Match Results, Standings, and Player's First Name and Last Name on the League's public website for league transparency.
2.2 Consent and Player Rights (UK GDPR)
- All Members must provide active consent to this Policy as a condition of joining.
- You have rights under UK data protection rules, including the right to view your data and the right to be forgotten (erasure). You can exercise these rights by contacting us below.
- Cessation: Membership automatically ends if a player requests the erasure of their data (as detailed in Section 4.2 of the Constitution).
